March 17, 2006 Great British Design Quest
The Penguin paperback book was one of 25 iconic designs originally chosen by a panel of experts for this competition. The contest, organised by BBC 2's The Culture Show and the Design Museum in London, has chosen the Concorde as the best British design. The now defunct Concorde, (beat 'by a nose, of course') Harry Beck's 1931 Tube Map.

March 17, 2006 Short breaks for Mothering Sunday
Mothering Sunday is March 26th. Here is a list of some great ideas for Mum and daughter breaks that includes a visit to Jane Austen's Winchester, Orient Express’ Mother’s Day lunch, or a trip to the Isle of Wight. (Wish we could do all of these!)
