April 27, 2006 The Lost World of Friese-Greene

In the mid-1920's, pioneering film-maker Claude Friese-Greene travelled from Land’s End to John O’Groats chronicling British life in colour. The British Film Institute has restored the film and it's being shown on BBC2 on Tuesdays. It can also be watched on your computer, at least until May 1, at the link above, but ONLY if you are in the UK. :o( Thank you to Elizabeth in Chester for this information.

Wait, good news!

Here is a link to the archives which seems to be open to all. You can view archives of his film via an interactive map.
